On December 25th, the 55007 KM82 carbon fiber composite lightweight freight car departed from Huanghua Port Station on the Shuohuang Railway and was officially put into demonstration operation on the group's own railway. This is the first batch of carbon fiber composite lightweight freight cars to be put into operation globally, injecting strong power into China's heavy-duty railway's green and low-carbon transportation transformation and peak winter energy supply guarantee.
The KM82 carbon fiber composite lightweight truck launched this time has technological advantages such as lighter, more energy-efficient, higher strength, and stronger environmental adaptability. Compared with ordinary railway freight cars, this model applies optimized and improved K6 type bogies, integrated air braking devices, high-strength heavy-duty couplers, self dumping bottom door opening and closing mechanisms and other new components, effectively improving the stability of vehicle operation. In addition, the railway equipment has independently developed a vehicle mounted intelligent monitoring system suitable for heavy-duty railway freight equipment, achieving technological upgrades in vehicle lightweighting, digitization, and intelligence, empowering the green, low-carbon, intelligent, and safe development of heavy-duty railway equipment through technological innovation.
