Compared with traditional methods such as winding and extrusion for producing tubular materials, weaving can directly form various shapes of woven fabrics based on the shape and size of the object. It has been widely used in fields such as medical, aerospace, composite materials, and tissue engineering.
The weaving parameters and materials will affect the performance of the woven tube, and the structure and performance of the woven tube prepared by different weaving processes are also greatly different. Weaving techniques can generally be divided into two-dimensional weaving and three-dimensional weaving.

Two dimensional weaving technology is to cross multiple bundles of fibers (or yarns) in the direction of fabric forming, and arrange them in a direction that has a certain angle with the direction of fabric forming, finally forming a weaving tube.
① Double axis woven fabric: Double axis woven fabric is formed by a group of yarns interweaving with each other at a certain angle. The commonly used weaving structures include diamond weaving structure, regular weaving structure, and Hercules weaving structure.
② Three axis weaving fabric: Three axis weaving adds axial yarns on the basis of biaxial weaving, and the axial yarns are located throughout the structure. The woven yarns are interwoven around the axial yarns. Compared to biaxial woven fabrics, triaxial woven fabrics have better axial performance.
