On June 28th, the carbon fiber ship lightweight composite material project was officially signed in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. The People's Government of Daishan County, Zhejiang Jinggong Integrated Technology Co., Ltd., Shangchen Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Zhoushan Ningxing Shipbuilding and Repair Co., Ltd. jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement.
In order to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, green, low-carbon, energy-saving and emission reduction have become the main directions for the development of the shipbuilding industry. There is an urgent need for the design and application of lightweight, zero emission, and new fuel ship types. Among them, the application of composite materials is the trend.
Due to the excellent properties of carbon fiber reinforced composite materials such as lightweight and high strength, the focus is on developing new materials and high-end equipment, including high-performance fibers and composite materials, to promote the high-quality development of ships and marine engineering equipment.
